LOCAL ALBUM UPDATES

I just got a preview of the new Cub Country album and it's soooo good. I'm pretty sure it's coming out this month but I haven't confirmed that yet. If you haven't seen them live recently, you need to go. The last couple of times I saw them they had a totally different set. Check here for dates: www.myspace.com/cubcountry

David Williams recorded a new record at Type Foundry studios in Portland with Adam Selzer (Norfolk & Western front man / producer extraordinaire) and it's one of the best records that I've heard in a long time. He's in the process of raising money to get it mastered and pressed (hopefully to vinyl) so try and help him out by purchasing his old records or go to his shows. I'll keep you posted on the possible release dates and whatnot.

I've heard that The Wolfs have postponed the release of their much anticipated new release indefinitely. This makes me sad...

Band of Annuals are debating where they're going to record their follow up to Let Me Live, but in the meantime, you can purchase their most recent tour ep here or at their shows. I'm not sure many people know that it exists. If you're a fan, you should grab a copy.

And as a favor to me, if you see anyone from either Laserfang or Coyote Hoods tell them to release a damn record already!

Is that the same David Williams album currently for sale in the store? The one with "Echo" on it?

no, the new one that he recorded with Adam isn't out yet. he's raising money to get it properly mastered and then pressed (hopefully he can raise enough to afford LPs). trust us, you'll hear from us when it is out because it is AMAZING.

Are the Band of Annuals debating whether to record a follow up at all or debating a time to begin the recording?

No no no. They are debating WHERE to record their follow up record. Last we heard they were torn between the Northeast and the Northwest.

In a perfect world, there would be huge label interest in BOA by this point. They've a sound that just can't go wrong. What's up with that, world?
